There is a spider among us
Walking along
The web of our lives
Thrumming the strings
Just to feel them vibrate
It Waits
Patiently
Quietly
For that moment
To
Strike
At whatever falls
Into it’s well woven trap
Of deceit and lies
What to believe of that tangled web
Does one pick apart the strands
To find the truth
Or does one believe
That the pattern IS the truth
And not bother to find
Where it begins
And where it ends.
